The following designs are drafts of the front of our packaging. They've improved by the slight detail added on the dripping, the heat and eat sticker, the creamy centre hand-written text that alludes to the home-baked style of the cookies, and the detail in the grid in the bottom.
These were refined to make the drips look more realistic by adding more shadows. We also made the logo/main Wonders text a lot more fun by making it three dimensional and multicoloured, according to each flavour. The shadow was made to look more realistic, and the grid at the bottom was taken out of the design. Overall, we improved the layout by focusing on hierarchy, balance, and aimed to show the down to earth, fun essence of the brand, despite the design adding a touch of everyday luxury.
Back of the packaging
As the main part of our concept is the heat and eat/centre of the biscuits, we decided we should advertise the fact that they can rest on the top of a mug and the inside can melt over a hot drink. This was explained in the text on the back of the packaging, along with a brief description of the product. These designs were further refined to again have a more balanced layout, and extra detail that reflected an Ernest Adams product.
